About Me

My work is organized around the intention and process of healing complex trauma. I earned my Master’s degree in Somatic Psychology in 2011. During that time, I was also pursuing advanced training to become a teacher and trainer in the Hakomi method. After 11 years of working within a blended Hakomi-IFS model, I found that I needed more training to increase my capacity to work more effectively with complex developmental trauma. This search led me to the Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM).

I completed the Online Basic Training in 2020, the Level 2 Professional Therapist training in December 2023, and am embarking on the NARM Masters training starting in March 2025. NARM has transformed my relationships with myself, my family, clients, and the healing potential of the therapeutic process itself. I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in this sacred work of supporting clients in developing their capacities for curiosity, self-compassion, agency, and wholeness, and to join them in the process of learning to keep themselves company with loving kindness. I am also currently working on a doctoral degree in Transformative Studies at California Institute for Integral Studies where I am exploring the fractal relationship between personal healing and collective transformation.

I have covered a lot of ground in my journey through this wild and precious life; a journey that has taken me all over the Pacific Northwest –– including 16 years living on two of its breathtaking islands –– before finally arriving in the Historic North Slope neighborhood of Tacoma in August of 2020.

Shortly afterwards, two rescue pups joined my empty nest and we have been walking, healing, and resting together ever since. I aspire to Walk in Beauty, and I find such delight in photographing the flowers, trees, and heart shaped rocks abundant in the neighborhoods, parks and beaches near my home.
