My Approach
In my practice, I blend NARM with other mindfulness-based methods to help clients gently access and heal unresolved issues in order to both decrease suffering in their lives. My practice is ideal for clients who are curious about expanding their capacity for intimacy and connection in their relationships and creating greater joy and satisfaction in their lives. I enjoy working with clients who are curious about and actively engaged in their own healing process, and who are committed to compassion and nonviolence in their relationships with others and with themselves. I welcome adults, couples, and clients from our BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
NARM and Hakomi are both mindfulness-based, somatic psychotherapy modalities. They are gentle and respectful, and use attunement and relational mindfulness to create opportunities for clients to expand their capacity to connect with themselves and others, and to experience a greater sense of agency and joy in their lives.
Somatic, mindfulness-based work is equally suitable for clients working with resolving distressing underlying emotional patterns associated with trauma as for those simply wanting to expand their capacity for intimacy in their relationships.
“Desire is the generative psychic instinct that supports becoming your most authentic self.”
